Privacy Policy

Valkyrie collects no user data. Your photos and videos never leave your Mac. If you also use Huginn, Valkyrie reads your own film simulation library from your own iCloud account, and that is the only network access it has.

Nothing. Valkyrie does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or any other data of any kind. We operate no server that Valkyrie talks to.

Valkyrie reads from and writes to locations on your Mac that you explicitly choose: your import destination and your Ready To Edit folder. Those files never leave your machine.

Valkyrie has exactly one network capability. If you use Huginn, our film simulation app, Valkyrie reads your recipe library, your Film Palettes and your favorites from your own iCloud account, so that Virtual Bracketing knows which looks you have. It reads your Huginn subscription status the same way, to know whether that feature is unlocked.

That data lives in your private iCloud database. It belongs to you, Apple stores it under your account, and it never passes through a Forge server. We never see it. If you do not use Huginn, Valkyrie makes no network requests at all.

When you connect a camera or memory card, Valkyrie reads the EXIF metadata embedded in your files in order to organize and rename them. That metadata is used locally, on your device, and is never transmitted anywhere.

Valkyrie integrates with no analytics platforms, no advertising networks, and no third-party services. It uses Apple's iCloud, under your own account, for the one purpose described above. There are no other parties involved in the operation of this app.

If you send us a message or sign up for the newsletter, we receive the email address and the message you typed, and we use them to reply and to send what you asked for. Nothing else.

Valkyrie does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
